Website design
Website design comprises several essential stages:
-
Definition of the project goals;
-
Development of the overall concept, as based on requirements of the customer.
-
Development of the site structure and navigation system.
-
Design of the site management system (site administration).
-
Site testing and adjustment.
-
At the first stage, as the customer you should decide what kind of information will be posted on the web. You are the only person capable of doing this job well. Who else knows best about the products and services offered by your company? No one. That is why you should decide what sections will be featured on the site, what information is of the primary importance etc. Generally speaking, at this point the site needs a structure.
-
If necessary, a system for site visitor feedback should be developed using interactive elements, such as application forms, order forms, guest books,
ulletin boards etc.
-
Then follows draw-up of the Technical Specification (TS). The form does not matter. What matters is that TS is clear and understandable to both parties. The most important thing about TS is to specify the scope of the project and its completion terms. The TS should also contain the requirements as to design of the site, its navigation and ways of data presentation. A clear and specific TS will help to avoid misunderstanding between the parties. It is advised that the parties sign this document prior to commencement of work on the project.
Our task is to provide our customers with a number of site design options to choose one that suits their needs best and ensures fulfillment of the initial objectives.
